This weekend we are so happy to be a part of the Women in Music Festival 2018. The event runs from April 6-8 in Oakland. According to Forbes, the event is "produced by women in music, for women in music. The women in music festival is an affordable weekend conference and showcase. With markets, workshops and performances, this niche event is in its second year of production and has already gathered quite a following."
There are so many events to choose from over the weekend. We plan to start with Friday night at the Oakland Museum of CA where we can enjoy the panel discussion, the exhibit RESPECT: Hip-Hop Style & Wisdom, the food trucks, and cocktails. Usually, when we do events, we are so busy preparing kupcāks for you that we don't get to enjoy what the event has to offer. So, I am making it a point to get out and support before I get to work Saturday and Sunday bringing you the best kupcāks this side of the Mississippi (ok, I had to say that and it sounds so country in my head. perfect. lol)
Take a look at the website, plan your festival experience, make sure that it ends with a visit with kupcāk at the Eat, Shop, Talk Market on Sunday, April 8, 2018, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Warehouse 416, 416 26th Street, Oakland, CA.
Although most of the events are for all ages and all genders, the Eat, Shop, Talk Market is 21 and older.
I hope to see you there and if you have a preference for a particular kupcāk you have been wanting to try, leave the flavor in the comments and we will see what we can do.
